Registration year is 1 April 2024 – 31 March 2025
Registration covers both winter (harriers) and summer (track and field) seasons.
We welcome you to come and have 1 trial before signing up.

Annual Family Membership Fee Discount Offer
A family membership discount applies when three or more members of the same family register with the club.
A discount of $20 (inclusive of GST) is applied to the third and each subsequent registered family member.
Junior Membership
Grades 7 - 14

Junior Track and Field includes a broad range of athletic events.
Athletes aged 7 to 14 years have the opportunity to participate in running races and relays over a range of distances (60m through to 1500m depending on the age of the athlete), throwing events (discus and shotput) and jumping events (long jump, high jump, and triple jump).
Spike running shoes may only be worn by athletes from Grade 10 and older and must be removed after completion of each event.
Junior Membership

Are catered for by both Junior and Senior (Under 16 Women & Men) athletic sections.
Athletes receive both an Athletics New Zealand registration number and a grade (age) patch and must wear both identifications.
A grade patch alone will not be accepted at Senior competitions – the Athletics New Zealand registration number must also be worn.
A grade patch must be worn when competing in Grade 14 Junior Championships and at all other Junior competitions.

Senior and Masters athletes receive an Athletics New Zealand registration number that must be worn at all Senior and Masters competitions.
The Wednesday club night programme caters for ages 15 and over and for athletes of all abilities.

Grade (Age) Patches
Athletics New Zealand Grade (Age) patches are issued to all Grade 7 - 14 registered club athletes upon confirmation of their registration and payment of membership fees.
Patches are to be worn sewn on the front upper half of the club singlet.
Grade 5 and 6 children are not classified as Athletics New Zealand registered athletes but are catered for by the club to encourage family participation in athletics.
Grade 5 and 6 children are not eligible to compete at Junior Championships, Top 10, Junior Relay Championships etc but are catered for at interclub Ribbon Day meetings.
Grade 5 and 6 Colgate patches are issued for identification purposes.
